Confidence & self-esteem

Confidence isn’t walking into a room thinking you’re better than everyone, it’s walking in not having to compare yourself to anyone at all.

Having confidence in yourself all relates to how you make an inner judgement about your abilities and qualities. This can mean that in certain situations you feel calm, in control and completely at ease. In another situation where you don’t rate yourself as skilled or able you can feel like a fish out of water. It takes courage to move from fear to confidence, and with a plan, self-compassion and patience the once impossible becomes possible. You’re possible.

Low self-esteem can mean that feeling negatively about yourself is applied as a filter across all the areas of your life. This can mean that your level of self-worth and self-love can feel low. Making small incremental steps can help us build up our self-esteem and self-confidence through our own feelings of accomplishment.  When taking up the challenge of easing into this new way of being it’s important to practice speaking to yourself with kindness and the patience you would show someone you care about.

Low self-esteem and lack of confidence come from the flaws in our subconscious mind, and it’s this part of the mind that stores our internal programmes that controls around 95% of how we think and behave.

Our personal programming is made up of experiences, beliefs about ourselves, social conditioning, societal norms, receiving negative messages about ourselves when we were younger and old stories about how we should think, act and behave. This creates a narrative in our minds that can be critical, unsupportive and the majority of the time, untrue. These outdated programmes are hugely influential in our life and can be a challenge to overcome consciously.

So how can we change and adapt this old negative narrative that is playing out?

Hypnotherapy enables you to access your subconscious mind and re-programme yourself supported by my guidance and skills. When enjoying a session of hypnosis you are in a trance state and this is known as the optimum learning state. In this brainwave state we are able to rewire this part of the mind with a new programme so that it’s in support of who you want to be, feel and behave.

I support you to make these significant changes using hypnotic techniques and the information you have shared with me about how you want to feel. I will guide you to release those feelings or words that fuel that negative narrative that has previously raced through your mind and replace it with a sense of natural confidence that feels integral to who you are.

EFT (emotional freedom technique) and matrix re-imprinting are two powerful techniques that will also support you to find the root of a negative belief that is keeping you stuck. Again, they enable you to access the subconscious mind, our personal control room, and resolve and change beliefs and patterns of thinking.
